About Vortex Bar & Grill:
We opened a bar because we wanted to have some fun hanging out with friends, enjoying a cocktail or an icy-cold beer, stuffing our faces with big, juicy burgers, laughing, joking, and just enjoying our lives. We created The Vortex as a hang-out for ourselves. It’s the kind of bar we would frequent, even if we didn’t own it. Casual, fun and politically incorrect. To make sure we would always have a good time at work, we established a set of House Rules very early on, and printed them on the cover of our menu. Our loyal patrons love the no-nonsense approach to business these policies represent, and people who are offended by them tend to be the high-maintenance, self-absorbed idiots we prefer did not patronize our establishment. We believe our policies represent simple, common sense and help us reinforce the idea of mutual respect, assuring everyone, both staff and patrons, will enjoy their time at The Vortex.
