About The Spence:
THE SPENCE IS A PLACE WHERE IT’S NOT JUST ABOUT PRESENTATION BUT ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE OF THE MEAL. A finished plate is just as important to us as full one. This is a place where interaction between the preparer and the diner is expected. When you come to The Spence we hope you can spend some time with us. Don't be afraid to put your elbows on the table and engage us and your fellow diners. Get to know us and what's inspiring us today. We'll be delivering the things we're currently passionate about on each plate we serve. We hope you come with a curious spirit ready for the experience of what an eatery is all about. Helmed by Chef Richard Blais, The Spence, a partnership with acclaimed restaurant group Concentrics Restaurants, is a classic eatery that serves accessible, ingredient driven food to its surrounding community and beyond. Courtesy of the acclaimed The Johnson Studio, warm handsome design elements such as lacquered white brick, navy repurposed wood, cream tartans and zinc and pine tabletops frame the centrally located beverage and food “kitchens”. Backed by an all-star culinary team including Adrian Villarreal (Atlanta’s JOËL and TAP) and Pastry Chef Andrea Litvin (New York City’s ABC Kitchen, Atlanta’s The Livingston), Blais displays his culinary strengths throughout on an ever-changing “pantry list” alongside signatures. The wine list, curated by Advanced Sommelier Justin Amick, offers focused “Tried and True” and “Leap of Faith” selections from true artists across the globe listed in an increasing progression of acidity. The Spence’s fresh branding was proudly created by New York’s Boy Burns Barn. The Spence proudly showcases the best in accessible atmosphere, food and beverage.
