About New York Pizza Exchange Restaurant:
From its humble beginnings in early 1983, the owners of NYPE felt they had a great product. Coupled with extraordinary service and quality, the business began to grow. The first restaurant had 12 tables and the owners often took orders, cooked food and washed dishes. (Sounds like a great American Success story!) Several years of increasing success brought such awards as "Best of Atlanta" from Atlanta Magazine for three consecutive years, "Best Restaurant in Cobb County" from Creative Loafing Magazine and one of the "Top 100" independent pizza restaurants in the United States from Pizza Today Magazine. The original NYPE expanded in 1991 to a facility that seats over two hundred people and a patio deck adjacent to the railroad tracks with live entertainment on Friday and Saturday.
