About Colonnade Restaurant: The Colonnade was founded in 1927 in a small, white columned house at the corner of Piedmont Road and Lindbergh Drive where it thrived until losing it's lease in 1962. Under the leadership of Frank Tarleton, the owner for most of it's early history , it became one of the city's best loved eateries. When it moved to its current location in 1962, customers kept coming.
The Jones family has owned the Colonnade since 1979. The restaurant expanded in 1982 to include a full service bar with a cozy fire place, dining room with seating for just under 200 patrons, and a comfortable banquet room.
