About Char 88 Steakhouse & Piano Bar:
Char 88 Historic Buford Steak House & Piano Bar is a warm and inviting atmosphere with live entertainment (piano bar) and was officially opened on July 16, 2009. We are bringing the best of Buckheads fine dining, steakhouses and piano bars to Buford, GA. Construction of this amazing restaurant and venue began in February 09 in an 1800’s historic downtown building in Buford, Georgia.

The founders Jim Bernard and Pat Sutherland created this very unique concept based on a need they felt was desired in the community which was an upscale, non-chain, fine dining experience with live entertainment. The determination was to bring quality dining experiences unlike anything seen in this market place. All menu items are prepared from scratch with the most fresh and seasonal ingredients available at the time. This is why you will experience different cuisine at different times of the year. Even down to the salad and the sauces used on your meats, nothing is prepared in advance until you place your order.
